Linder history

Like many other successful companies, Linder Aluminum Boats has a history. In our case, it started over 50 years ago. Over the years there have been a number of events, product launches and road choices that we have made. All the time with the best in mind - to build boats and canoes with quality for many years of enjoyment and use. What once started in an old hen house with Lars-Göran Linder starting to build boats in the pop-material of the time, plastic, took a big step in 1981 with the launch of the Inkas® canoe. Now in the material of the future - aluminum. In his own words, "I realized the benefits of aluminum early - light, strong and maintenance-free". Nowadays we have added yet another argument, a promise not only to you as users of our products, but also to those who come after us - aluminum is a durable material. A material in constant circulation.

It took two years after launch, and the success, with Inkas as our first boat saw the light of day. The lightweight and durable Fishing 410. You can see almost everyday everyday that we chose early on the right path. Our very first products are still used. An Incas or a Fishing. Sure, time has given them a pleasant patina - and perhaps one and the other mark. But they are still just as functional, durable and maintenance-free.

Linder Aluminum boats have evolved over time. We have grown, refined production and taken steps into new classes. And new markets. Our sports boats got a bigger cousin in 2004 when we launched Arkip® 460. The response was above expectations. Maritime worthy few received the 'class winner' award that year.

We continued on the beaten path. In 2017 we launched the new Arkip 530 BR. Molded in one piece of Småland soul that shaped our entire range. As the name suggests, it's a big boat. With larger engine and for slightly higher speeds when you wish.
